Lux Noctis is my entry to the Brackeys 2022.1 Game Jam! Lux Noctis (the Light in the Night) is a puzzle platformer containing 5 playable levels (for now...)

A young boy awakens in a dark room. In the shadows he is sure that he sees movement. Turn on all of the lights to show him that his imagined ghost are not real to move to the next room.

I hope you enjoy this short experience in the darkness!

I like your concept, nice work!

I really love your game. It's a really cool concept! I would love to play some more levels (if you're planning to continue developing it) and I liked the puzzle elements. There are a few bugs that need addressing however. (luckily for you, that isn't a category of the rating 😀) Great game!

I want to know the lore + more levels! Great concept.

Great platformer game really enjoyed it!!

Im so glad to hear that :) Thank you for playing it and for the feedback!

I'm waiting for future developments. Atmosphere was really good.

Thank you :) I have big plans for this prototype so watch this space!

Amazing game, great mechanics, atmosphere was great, I loved it.

Great potential, simple yet fun mechanics. The classic platformer mechanics coupled with the unique lightswitch-ghost system made for an interesting "a-ha!" moment.

Only 'bug' I noticed was the platform hit boxes being a little 'sticky'

Well done, I can only image what you could achieve with more time!

Great assets, the lighting effect is wonderfully executed!

thanks for the feedback and the comment - much appreciated :)

Awesome game! I love how you made this mechanic!

thanks very much for playing and the kind feedback :) I think you must have given the game a rating because at one point it had a rating, but I see its gone now. If you get the chance please do come back later and rate and of course I look forward to playing and rating your game too!

I like the whole concept,  but I and other people that will play your game will surely enjoy some kind of a volume slider.

Thanks thats an interesting feature request that I've honestly never thought of. I will check it out. Thanks for playing!
